Kelly, Conor, and their son Ailbe flew back from New Zealand to celebrate there Wedding at St, Finbarr’s Oratory Gougane Barra in West Cork.

St Finbarr being the patron saint of Cork. I was delighted they booked me for their Wedding Photographer. Fabulous couple and family to work for and was looking forward to the day ahead.

The day started with a visit to both houses in Fermoy where Kelly and Conor where getting ready for the Big Day. A short trip to Gougane Barra, a mystical place with the Oratory setting on the Lake surrounded by the hills. It was a cold but sunny day and a late Bride as the Bridal car took a detour and got a bit lost. Fr Donal Roberts who celebrated the mass and a friend of Conor’s from his days at St Coleman’s Collage Fermoy. A warm and intimate ceremony the lucky ones got the seats.

Not hanging around too long at Gougane Barra on the cold December day we took some family formals and plenty of fun photos with the bridal party before we went to the Collins pub a few miles over the road on our way to Dunmore House Hotel in Clonakilty where the party and celebration began with the guest. With it being a Christmas Wedding Santa was never too far away.

Thanks to Kelly, Conor, Ailbe and your families for having me capture your special day.
